GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Farmers Insurance had deemed our client’s 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $9,091.79. Farmers settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $239.00 lagging balance with their lender The Credit Union Loan after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $13,049.19. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $239.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $1,251.87 or 71.6.
Net settlement increase was $3,957.40 or 43.5%
