GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Progressive Insurance had deemed our client’s 2016 Ford Explorer a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $22,132.24. Progressive settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,066.13 lagging balance with their lender Toyota Motor Credit after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $22,800.40. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $1,066.13 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $155.43 or 24.9.
Net settlement increase was $2,131.38 or 9.6%
