GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Geico Insurance had deemed our client’s 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $15,547.94. Geico settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $546.00 lagging balance with their lender Santander after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $17,559.25. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $546.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability to $986.71 or 28.5%.
Net settlement increase was $2,011.31 or 12.9%
