GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Farmers Insurance had deemed our client’s 2017 Kia Forte a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $9,592.35. Farmers settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $672.00 lagging balance with their lender Kia Motors after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $11,347.65. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $672.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability to $645.74 or 32.4%.
Net settlement increase was $1,755.30 or 18.3%
