GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Farmers Insurance had deemed our client’s 2017 Kia Niro a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $11,237.18. Farmers settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $985.00 lagging balance with their lender Kia Motors after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $13,344.69. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $985.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $312.51 or 20.8%.
Net settlement increase was $2,097.51 or 18.7%
