GAP Provider Liability Realignment
USAA Insurance had deemed our client’s 2019 Honda Fit a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $17,734.13. USAA settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $979.00 lagging balance with their lender American Honda Finance after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $19,019.75. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $979.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $300.00 or 1%.
Net settlement increase was $1,285.62 or 7.2%
