GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Farmers Insurance had deemed our client’s 2020 Chevrolet Equinox a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $24,783.94. Farmers settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,825.00 lagging balance with their lender GM Financial.
We successfully settled the claim for $28,921.31. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $1,825.00 liability. GAP benefit was reduced to $0.00.
Net settlement increase was $4,137.37 or 16.7%
