GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Geico Insurance had deemed our client’s 2020 Chevrolet Trax a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $16,867.25. Geico settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,044.00 lagging balance with their lender GM Financial after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $21,814.25. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $1,044.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $2,871.80 or 28.0%
Net settlement increase was $4,947.00 or 29.3%
