GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Progressive Insurance had deemed our client’s 2020 Toyota Corolla a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $16,739.53. Progressive settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,897.00 lagging balance with their lender Toyota Financial after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $21,075.69. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $1,897.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $465.77 or 62.4%.
Net settlement increase was $4,336.16 or 25.9%
