GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Root Insurance had deemed our client’s 2015 Dodge RAM 2500 a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $26,929.67. The Root settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,956.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $31,501.89. The revised settlement satisfied our client $1,956.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $1,640.22 or 14.5%.
Net settlement increase was $4,572.22 or 17.0%
