GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Travelers Insurance had deemed our client’s 2015 Ford F150 a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $34,161.00. The Travelers settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $3,966.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $40,041.94. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $3,966.00 and gave him an additional $707.94 as a return of equity.
Net settlement increase was $5,880.94 or 17.2%
