GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Progressive Insurance had deemed our client’s 2016 KIA Sorento a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $12,947.91. The Progressive settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,553.28 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $16,937.13. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $1,553.28 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $1,585.03 or 61.9%.
Net settlement increase was $3,989.22 or 30.8%
