GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Geico Insurance had deemed our client’s 2014 Maserati Ghibli a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $25,087.81. The estimated GAP liability was $2,100.00. Our client wanted the vehicle safely repaired to it’s pre-loss OEM condition not replaced.
We successfully settled the claim for $30,739.25. The revised settlement increase allowed the vehicle to be safely returned to it’s OEM pre-loss condition. Once repaired the GAP liability was exhausted.
Net settlement increase was $5,651.44 or 22.5%
