GAP Provider Liability Realignment
State Farm Insurance had deemed our client’s 2017 Nissan Altima a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $17,732.55. The State Farm settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,261.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $20,507.80. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $1,261.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $891.85 or 8.0%
Net settlement increase was $2,775.25 or 15.7%.
