GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Mercury Insurance had deemed our client’s 2017 Nissan Rogue a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $16,774.13. The Mercury settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,029.67 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $18,310.50. The revised settlement satisfied our client $1,029.67 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $117.50 or 2.7%.
Net settlement increase was $1,536.37 or 9.2%
