GAP Provider Liability Realignment
State Farm Insurance had deemed our client’s 2018 Nissan Altima a Total Loss due to flood damage and offered her a settlement of $25,083.99. The State Farm settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,122.50 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $28,461.68. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $1,122.50 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $1,519.39 or 23.4%.
Net settlement increase was $3,377.69 or 13.5%
