GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Progressive Insurance had deemed our client’s 2019 Toyota Corolla a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $16,619.10. The Progressive settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,096.37 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $19,551.37. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $1,096.37 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $1,183.94 or 28.5%.
Net settlement increase was $2,932.27 or 17.6%
