GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Farmers Insurance had deemed our client’s 2018 Kia Optima a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $15,332.54. Farmers settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,235.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $17,232.62. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $1,235.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $199.68 or 9.6%.
Net settlement increase was $1,900.08 or 12.4%
