GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Elephant Insurance had deemed our client’s2019 GMC Acadia a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $33,109.00. Elephant settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $3,952.00 lagging balance with their lender Santander Consumer after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $35,900.00. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $3,952.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability to $0.00.
Net settlement increase was $2,791.00 or 8.4%
