GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Progressive Insurance had deemed our client’s 2018 Nissan Altima a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $24,514.61. The Progressive settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,031.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $25,918.92. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $1,031.00 liability.
Net settlement increase was $1,404.31 or 5.7%
