GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Allstate Insurance had deemed our client’s 2018 Chevrolet Malibu a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $17,538.06. The Allstate settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $808.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $21,780.63. The revised settlement satisfied our client $808.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $2,535.97 or 70.0%.
Net settlement increase was $4,242.57 or 24.2%
