GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Allstate Insurance had deemed our client’s 2018 Chevrolet Suburban a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $39,864.38. The Allstate settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,415.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $43,173.00. The revised settlement satisfied our client $1,415.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $1,123.92 or 61.8%.
Net settlement increase was $3,308.62 or 8.3%
