GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Farmers Insurance had deemed our client’s 2015 Chrysler 200C a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $12,062.56. The Farmers settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,258.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $13,812.50. The revised settlement satisfied our client $1,258.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $62.54 or 4.5%.
Net settlement increase was $1,749.94 or 14.5%
