GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Farmers Insurance had deemed our client’s 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $22,707.81. The Farmers settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,259.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $26,509.43. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $1,259.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $0.00.
Net settlement increase was $3,801.62 or 16.7%
