GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Farmers Insurance had deemed our client’s 2017 Honda Civic a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $13,856.13. The Farmers settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $933.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $17,458.00. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $933.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $1,890.87 or 67.6%.
Net settlement increase was $3,601.87 or 26.0%
