GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Acceptance Insurance had deemed our client’s 2018 Honda CRV a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $21,171.75. The Acceptance settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $869.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $23,971.75. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $869.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $1,271.00 or 30.1%.
Net settlement increase was $2,800.00 or 13.2%
