GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Progressive Insurance had deemed our client’s 2019 Toyota Yaris a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $12,662.74. Progressive settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,221.60 lagging balance with their lender Ally Financial after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $18,220.00. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $1,221.60 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $1,599.29 or 63.0%.
Net settlement increase was $5,794.72 or 43.8%
