GAP Provider Liability Realignment
American Access Casualty Insurance had deemed our client’s 2020 Chevrolet Equinox a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $18,828.00. American Access Casualty settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,350.00 lagging balance with their lender GM Financial after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $21,900.00. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $1,350.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $415.94 or 48.5%.
Net settlement increase was $3,072.00 or 16.3%
