Our client has a 2014 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 and was involved in a front-end collision. The Mercedes-Benz OEM Certified Collision Facility, our client, chose to restore her car back to its Pre-Wreck OEM Condition issued a repair estimate for $15,331.30. Our client wanted her Mercedes safely returned back to its OEM Pre-Wreck Condition by her trusted Mercedes-Benz OEM Certified Collision Facility.
Our client has Geico Insurance. Geico Insurance refused to recognize OEM procedures and guidelines needed to safely repair our client’s vehicle back to its Pre-Wreck OEM Condition. Our Client informed us Geico Insurance management threatened to deem her 2014 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 a Total Loss if she did not agree to the unsafe manner in which Geico wanted to repair her car. The Geico Repair Estimate consisted of mismatched parts, non-OEM procedures, and unsafe repairs. The Geico Repair Estimate was $10,718.23.
Our client after being repeatedly informed by Geico Insurance management they only had limited liability in regards to returning her Mercedes back to its Pre-Wreck OEM condition retained us to insure her Mercedes was safely repaired and returned to its OEM Pre-Wreck condition.
Our subsidiary Vehicle Value Experts and the Geico Insurance Independent 3rd Party Appraiser Frontier Adjuster came to a unanimous decision the proper and safe repair cost is in fact $15,331.30. Our Client is now having her Mercedes returned to its Pre-Wreck OEM Condition by Geico Insurance at the Mercedes-Benz OEM Certified Collision Facility, our client, chose to restore her car back to its Pre-Wreck OEM Condition.
