REPAIR PROCEDURE ISSUE:
Our client's 2021 Subaru Crosstrek was damaged. Our client filed a claim with their carrier Liberty County Mutual Insurance for the loss. Liberty County Mutual Insurance issued a loss statement/repair estimate for $3,083.02 before the deductible. Our client's collision facility issued a preliminary loss statement/repair plan for $6,080.04 to return our client's 2021 Subaru Crosstrek to its pre-loss condition. Our client came to us for assistance with the $2,997.02 under-indemnification and out-of-pocket expense to safely return their vehicle to its pre-loss OEM condition.
As a result of going through the appraisal process in the policy, the selected Independent Appraiser firm came to a binding agreement with the Liberty County Mutual Insurance independent 3rd party appraiser for $4,666.94 as the loss statement/repair cost to return our client's 2021 Subaru Crosstrek back to its pre-loss condition.
The final binding agreement between the unbiased independent appraisers identified an under-indemnification of the loss of $1,583.92 or 51.38% from the Liberty County Mutual Insurance loss statement/repair estimate of $3,083.02. Through the invoking of the Liberty County Mutual Insurance policy right of appraisal our client has been made whole for their loss with no out-of-pocket expense other than their deductible.
