GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Geico Insurance had deemed our client’s 2016 Chevrolet Cruze a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $10,713.25. Geico settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $637.00 lagging balance with their lender BBVA after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $12,783.00. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $637.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability to $804.50 or 65.8%.
Net settlement increase was $2,069.75 or 19.3%
