GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Geico Insurance had deemed our client’s 2016 Toyota Camry a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $14,543.56. Geico settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,007.00 lagging balance with their lender Regional Acceptance after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $16,926.75. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $1,007.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability to $827.59 or 27.6%.
Net settlement increase was $2,383.19 or 16.4%
