GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Geico Insurance had deemed our client’s 2018 Honda Civic a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $16,334.94 Geico settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $858.00 lagging balance with their lender Honda Finance after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $18,095.50. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $858.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability to $471.16 or 12.4%
Net settlement increase was $1,760.56 or 10.8%
