GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Root Insurance had deemed our client’s 2019 Nissan Titan a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $38,463.00. Root settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,937.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $46,327.25. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $1,937.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability by $5,134.66 or 45%
Net settlement increase was $7,864.25 or 20%
