GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Home State Insurance had deemed our client’s 2020 Buick Encore a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $21,472.18. Home State settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $2,174.82 lagging balance with their lender Bank of America after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $24,900.00. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $2,174.82 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $453.0 or 11.6%.
Net settlement increase was $3,427.82 or 16.0%
