GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Geico Insurance had deemed our client’s 2020 Chevrolet Equinox a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $25,741.25. Geico settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,478.00 lagging balance with their lender RBFCU after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $27,465.69. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $1,478.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $246.66 0r 11%.
Net settlement increase was $1,724.44 or 6.7%
