GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Geico Insurance had deemed our client’s 2020 Chevrolet Malibu a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $16,550.63. Geico settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $2,774.00 lagging balance with their lender GM Financial after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $25,426.75. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $2,774.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $4,331.32 or 67.0%.
Net settlement increase was $8,876.12 or 53.6%
