GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Geico Insurance had deemed our client’s 2016 Buick Verano a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $14,019.41. The Geico settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $937.32 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $15,704.88. The revised settlement satisfied our client $937.32 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $330.89 or 15.0%.
Net settlement increase was $1,685.47 or 12.0%
