GAP Provider Liability Realignment
USAA Insurance had deemed our client’s 2017 Chevrolet Malibu a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $19,672.17. The USAA settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $839.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $21,056.60. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $839.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $170.43 or 25.2%.
Net settlement increase was $1,384.43 or 7.0%
