GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Kemper Insurance had deemed our client’s 2018 Chevrolet Trax a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $14,857.00. The Kemper settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $597.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $15,943.94. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $597.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $114.94 or 10.5%.
Net settlement increase was $1,086.94 or 7.3%
