GAP Provider Liability Realignment
State Farm Insurance had deemed our client’s 2017 GMC Terrain a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $14,529.25. The State Farm settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $2,521.25 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $19,183.00. The revised settlement satisfied our client $2,521.25 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $1,156.50 or 26.9%.
Net settlement increase was $4,653.75 or 32.0%
