GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Grinnel Mutual Reinsurance had deemed our client’s 2017 Nissan Altima a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $17,641.49. The Grinnel Mutual settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,111.13 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $19,147.57. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $1,111.13 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $4.90 or 0.1%.
Net settlement increase was $1,506.08 or 8.5%
