GAP Provider Liability Realignment
State Farm Insurance had deemed our client’s 2015 Nissan Altima a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $11,192.24. The State Farm Insurance settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,245.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $14,031.38. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $1,245.00 lender liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $975.34 or 38.1%.
Net settlement increase was $2,839.14 or 25.4%.
