GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Germania Insurance had deemed our client’s 2018 Nissan Frontier a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $21,138.81. The Germania Insurance settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $2,060.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $25,474.88. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $2,060.00 lender liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $1,359.87 or 12.4%.
Net settlement increase was $4,336.07 or 20.5%.
