GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Root Insurance had deemed our client’s 2017 Nissan Sentra a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $11,917.00. The Root settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $659.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $14,000.00. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $659.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability to zero.
Net settlement increase was $2,083.00 or 19.3%
