GAP Provider Liability Realignment
State Auto Insurance had deemed our client’s 2017 Nissan Sentra a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $12,735.75. The State Auto settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $720.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $14,869.25. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $720.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $911.90 or 16.0%
Net settlement increase was $2,133.50 or 16.8%
