GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Travelers Insurance had deemed our client’s 2017 Nissan Titan a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $26,953.44. The Travelers settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,870.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $29,823.25. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $1,870.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $359.61 or 3.0%.
Net settlement increase was $2,869.81 or 10.6%
