GAP Provider Liability Realignment
State Auto Insurance had deemed our client’s 2018 Nissan Versa a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $8,360.69. The State Auto settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $541.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $9,959.75. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $541.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $258.06 or 19.9%.
Net settlement increase was $1,599.06 or 19.1%
