GAP Provider Liability Realignment
State Farm Insurance had deemed our client’s 2017 Toyota Corolla a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $16,873.88. The State Farm settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $979.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $18,414.51. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $979.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $106.76 or 30.6%.
Net settlement increase was $1,540.63 or 9.1%
