GAP Provider Liability Realignment
State Farm Insurance had deemed our client’s 2018 Toyota Highlander a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $31,128.73. The State Farm settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,355.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $34,013.42. The revised settlement satisfied our client $1,355.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $886.69 or 8.1%.
Net settlement increase was $2,884.69 or 9.3%
